Grading Protocol
All individual grade reports can be viewed at any time on Power School. You will find access to Power School under the "Home" page.
All daily homework is seen as daily skill practice and is checked but not recorded in Power School (gradebook). The score at the top of all assignments will either have a percentage or the number correct out of how many questions on the page. If the worksheet has a star at the top, that means it was all or mostly correct. If the worksheet has an "OK" at the top, that means some questions were missed. If the worksheet has a "please correct" at the top, that means that assigment needs to be corrected.
All tests throughout the year are formative tests and count for 30% of the grade. All tests at the end of the year or at the end of a social studies or science unit are summative tests and count for 70% of the grade.
